We are located in Southern Southeast Alaska. Ketchikan is the epicenter of Alaskan salmon fishing.  In June, July and in August hundreds of thousands of salmon travel the waters around Ketchikan on their annual migration to native streams.  Along with the thousands of salmon, halibut of massive size inhabit the deep. The five different salmon species combined with the abundant bottom feeders make Ketchikan, Alaska fishing an unbeatable angling destination.

Why choose our Ketchikan, Alaska Fishing Lodge?  We are located a short 90 minute flight from Seattle so you don't have to spend two days getting here. You don't have to fish in rough seas. We are surrounded by islands, so if the weather gets bad we can move to the backside of an island and still have a great fishing trip. Some of the best fishing is just a few miles from the Marina. Ketchikan Salmon Fishing Trips  The fishing in Ketchikan starts off with king salmon fishing in May. By the middle of May the king salmon fishing should start to get good. They show up in May and the peak of the king salmon fishing is in June. King salmon range between twelve and eighty pounds, the average is about twenty-five pounds. In May and June you are not going to boat fifty fish a day, but you might boat one over fifty pounds!  The fishing in July is fast and furious. All five salmon species show up in July  (kings, pinks, silvers, chums and sockeye salmon.)  The fishing in August is still fantastic. The kings are gone but the silver, pinks and chums are still here. We have great silver salmon fishing in September through mid October. The September silver fishing has been a sleeper for years but the word is getting out! People are figuring out how good the fishing is here in September. Silvers run about ten pounds with a trophy being over twenty. When the bite is on, the box will fill up in a hurry!

Ketchikan Halibut Fishing Trips  There is also great halibut fishing in Ketchikan.  Alaska is world renowned for its halibut fishing. Alaskan halibut range from fifteen to over four hundred pounds. We have great halibut fishing June, July and August. The beauty of halibut fishing in Ketchikan is that you don't have to run very far.
